My Humble Thanks

Simply put, this has been the most amazing, stressful and fulfilling week of my life. If  you were to have explained to me last Monday, the things that were going to happen to me during the past few days I would have immediately branded you as a lunatic! However, it did happen, and I can’t believe it still!

Before I go any further I’d like to thank a few people. Firstly, thanks to anyone I discussed a horse with this week! I value so many people’s opinions and often collate them to calculate my own conclusions. In particular Bill Hutchinson, the man who got me interested in horse racing, James Ryan, my equine conformation consultant and Jess Stafford, she is my indirect finger on the pulse! Also thanks to my uncle, Jim Nugent from the Strawberry Alarm Clock on Dublin’s Fm104 who gave me a chance on Wednesday! Thanks to him I was picked up by KC from the KC Show on TodayFM, to whom I am also extremely grateful for the opportunity. Also thanks to Trish from http://www.kinsalepointtopoint.ie who recommended me to Sky News. I have never met Trish, but when I do, I’m buying! But, the biggest thanks of all goes to you, the readers and punters, who took a chance on a young fella. Without all of you showing an interest nothing would have happened. Thanks!

A lot of people are asking me what happens now?! I’m in my final year of college, so I wont be tipping or blogging for a month or two. Finals are just around the corner! So if you can bear with me, I’ll be back for a bit of May and June!

Horse Racing punditry is something I would love to do when I leave college be it TV, Radio, or writing (after this week I’m proven in all three fields!). Note punditry, not tipping!! The life of a tipster is far too stressful and insecure for me!

For now my thoughts are with JT. Hopefully he will be back to full health as soon as possible!
